MESSAGE FROM THE PTA PRESIDENT
ENGLISH II STAAR TESTING

WE ARE ASKING ONLY ENGLISH II STAAR EOC TESTERS COME TO CAMPUS ON THURSDAY, APRIL 22. Wednesday, April 21 will be an A-Day. We had more than 85% of our freshmen attend last Tuesday. Let’s hit 90% for our sophomore class on Thursday!

Woodrow PTA provided our freshmen with a cool treat when they dismissed from STAAR testing last week! The Kona Ice Truck was there to greet them in front of the school to allow for some fun and friends after a long day of testing!

Look for the Kona Ice Truck again this Thursday as a treat for our English II testers!

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

It was great to see students returning on Monday and Freshmen test on Tuesday. This Thursday we’ll host our English II students for their STAAR EOC exam. The week’s schedule will be A-B-A-Test/Flex-B. As we begin the final quarter of the year please know this time is very stressful for students They’re worried about grades, tests, and the transitions that will happen at the end of the year. Much of this is magnified by the pandemic. We would love to see your student on campus to support them for these final months. Please contact us for any social, emotional, or academic supports. You’re not in this alone. Thank you for partnering with us to make Woodrow the exemplary school for teaching and learning. Read on ...
