ANNUAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED EVERY YEAR THEY ATTEND WOODROW WILSON HIGH SCHOOL. Those who have completed the necessary steps for the current year and upcoming school year by 4 p.m. on June 14 will be eligible to win one of four spirit packages donated by our PTA and valued at $75. Visit the Attendance page of DISD's Woodrow website for more information or contact the attendance office 972 502 4409.

MAP TESTING

YOUR STUDENT'S THIRD PERIOD TEACHER WILL FACILIATE  END-OF-YEAR MAP TESTING. Last Wednesday students completed the third and final reading assessment with their 3A teacher. Next Wednesday, June 9, students will complete the third and final math assessment with their 3B teacher.

AP TESTING AND SUPPORT

IF YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN A MAKE-UP SESSION FOR AP TESTING please reach out to your teacher or email Ms. Emery.

ATTENDANCE FOR CREDIT

JUNE 10 IS THE DEADLINE FOR NON-SENIORS TO MAKE UP SEAT TIME FOR EXCESSIVE ABSENCES. Earning a passing grade is not enough. Students must be in attendance 90% of the time the class is offered. Students will be denied credit if they miss the deadline. THERE ARE NO EXTENSIONS. Students will need to attend summer school or retake the course next school year if they miss the deadline. Get complete information online.

CREDIT RECOVERY / SUMMER SCHOOL

COUNSELORS WILL BEGIN COMMUNICATING WITH FAMILIES THIS WEEK ABOUT STUDENTS WHO FAILED COURSES THIS YEAR. Due to a lack of success in the remote learning environment, students will need to be on campus to take classes through an online platform called APEX. Students who fail to complete the required courses will have their requested 2021-22 scheduled changed to reflect the necessary classes to stay on track for graduation.

FINAL WEEK SCHEDULE UPDATED

STUDENTS WILL HAVE EARLY DISMISSAL ON JUNE 15, 16, 17 AND 18. Students will attend two periods a day and then have the opportunity to eat lunch from 1-1:30. They can grab a lunch to go or stay on campus until 1:30. View the complete schedule online.

STAAR TESTING AND SUPPORT
TECHNOLOGY FOR THE SUMMER

RETURNING STUDENTS WILL KEEP THEIR DEVICES OVER THE SUMMER. If a student is not returning to the district for the 2021-22 school year, the device should be returned to the school at the time of the withdrawal. In the fall high schoolers will exchange their Chromebook for a new Windows laptop. Summer tech support is available to students and parents throughout the summer. Please contact the IT Service Desk at 972 925 5630 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. or email ITServiceDesk@dallasisd.org.
