We will start at 5:30 p.m. with a brief welcome and Title 1 presentation by Principal Moran. After the presentation parents and guardians are invited to experience their students' schedules through a series of meet and greets from 6-8 p.m.

SEPTEMBER IS BOTH ATTENDANCE AWARENESS AND SUICIDE PREVENTION MONTH. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for people ages 10-34 and 4th leading cause for people 35-54. Woodrow has counselors, a school-based mental health clinician, and partners with Parkland through the Youth and Family Clinic to meet student and staff social, emotional, and mental needs. Students with perfect attendance during the month of September will be entered into a raffle for a special prize. One student will be selected from each trustee district will be recognized districtwide.
