WOODROW FUN FACT

The Wildcat logo is comprised of three Ws representing the triple-W of Woodrow Wilson Wildcats (one set on the wildcat’s forehead, and one set on each cheek). The tongue of the Wildcat is intended to be a subtle representation of a heart, referring to the school motto, “Keep Thy Heart With All Diligence” which appears over the auditorium stage and has been part of the school since its opening in 1928.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Jon Paul McCrumbly (Class of 1971) was Woodrow Wilson's first African-American football star He propelled the 1969-70 team to the Texas State Semi-Finals and went on to play for Texas A&M and the Buffalo Bills. He was inducted into the Woodrow Hall of Fame in 2009.
