MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
This Friday is Fair Day

All DISD Middle and High School students have Friday, October 14th off for the State Fair of Texas. On Thursday, each student will receive a ticket to the fair. The ticket will only be accepted this Friday.

ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING BEHAVIOR

Please read this important announcement from Dallas ISD regarding your student's expected behavior at the fair.

Socioeconomic Information Needed

Parents, if you did not indicate your socioeconomic information during the registration process, please do so at this time.

Texas Education Agency School Districts requires each school to collect and report the socioeconomic status of each student for the annual state accountability ratings and for federal reporting. Please note that your family's income levels are not reported to the Texas Education Agency; only the Economic Disadvantaged status of each student as determined by the information provided is reported.

Completing this form will assist with the school's funding (Title I and State Compensatory). It is imperative that we continue to collect this data to keep compensatory funding in place.

Our goal at Woodrow Wilson High School is 100% completion by October 21, 2022.

Schools Closed on November 8 for Election Day

Several DISD schools will serve as polling locations on Tuesday, November 8.  To ensure the safety of our students and staff, the Board of Trustees have voted to make November 8 a remote Professional Development Day for teachers, and students will not report to school that day.
