MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences this year are one-on-one, on a first-come basis, and lasting no more than 7 minutes per student.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please schedule a conference with your student's teacher on a different date and time.

October 27th

5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Campus Safety Remiders

Safety is one of the top priorities at our school, and we are counting on all members of our Woodrow Community to ensure that our students remain safe while on campus. Some of our students have made a habit of propping exterior doors around the building in order to make it easier for their friends to gain entry into the building. Please be advised that it is prohibited to prop doors at any time and for any reason!

Woodrow is a closed campus, including during our lunch periods.  Students who leave or attempt to leave campus and return will face discipline per the student code of conduct.

We would also like to advise that any students arriving at school out of dress code will not be allowed to enter their first period classroom until they are appropriately dressed. Parents will be called to provide appropriate clothing. For students who are unable to have a parent bring clothes, they may trade their phone in for the day in exchange for clothes that are dress code compliant.

With the approach of cooler weather, we’d like to remind that you that winter jackets, jackets with hoods, hats/beanies, etc. may be worn, but must be removed and stored in a locker during the day. Students who need a locker to store winter clothing can request one in the Front Office.

Thank you for working with us to keep our school safe!

DRESS CODE

Schools Closed on November 8th for Election Day

Several DISD schools will serve as polling locations on Tuesday, November 8.  To ensure the safety of our students and staff, the Board of Trustees have voted to make November 8 a remote Professional Development Day for teachers, and students will not report to school that day.
