FROM THE PRINCIPAL
ACP Testing is Around the Corner!

ACP Testing and Early Dismissal will begin Friday, December 16th. Students will be released at 2:15 p.m. on December 16, 19, 20 & 21. 

To-go lunches will be available and bus schedules will be adjusted to accommodate early dismissal. Students are to arrive at school at normal time (9:10 a.m.).

Spirit Shop Volunteers Needed

The Spirit Shop is open outside the Big Gym from 7:30 to 9:05 a.m. every Thursday morning. There is a staff member posted at the glass doors by the Big Gym to let people in who want to shop or pick up orders.

PEACE PANTRY
Peace Pantry Supplemental Food Pick Up

Pick up bags of supplemental food and meal items in the Main Office before school or in Room 1103 after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (4:30 to 5:00 p.m.). 

No paperwork is needed. 

For any questions or assistance, please see Ms. Tanner in the Main Office. 

PERFORMING ARTS
Congratulations!

Congratulations to Patricia McDonald on making 2nd Chair in the TMEA Area Choir!

Patricia has advanced to the final round of the All-State Choir competition.

 Wish her luck next month on her final audition in Waco! 

The Nutcracker Short 'N Suite

The Woodrow Dance Company is gearing up for its annual production of the Nutcracker Short 'n Suite! It takes support from our Woodrow Community to make this annual performance a success. 

Please consider purchasing a sponsorship or program ad to help us cover the costs of sets, costumes and production fees!

Land of Sweets Breakfast

Join us on Saturday, December 10th for a morning filled with breakfast, sweets and other delights before viewing the matinee performance of the Nutcracker Short 'n Suite!

    Take pictures with beloved characters from the show along with Santa and his Elves!

 Tickets for this fun-filled character breakfast are $15 each and include breakfast, treats and pictures with cast members. Tickets to the Nutcracker Short 'n Suite are sold separately and can be purchased here.

Holiday Choir Performances

Woodrow Choirs will be performing at NorthPark Mall on Saturday, December 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the courtyard outside of Dillard's. 

Winter Concert

Mark your calendars for Woodrow's Choir Concert on December 14th!

More information coming soon. 

Spring Musical

There will be a Musical Parent Meeting on January 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Black Box for parents of anyone in the musical….cast and crew.

ATHLETICS
Lady Wildcats Basketball

The Lady Wildcats are off to a great season! Cheer them on as they take on Adamson H.S. this Tuesday, December 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the Woodrow Gym. 

Basketball

Varsity had a lot of fun this weekend at the Canes Key City Classic winning the Silver Bracket Championship and finishing 4-1. 

Congrats to Woodrow Boys Basketball players Jamel Toney-Black and Wglen Rodriguez for being named to the all-tournament team!

Woodrow JV and Freshman Basketball were at the Highway 5 Tournament this weekend. Freshman finished 2nd and JV was 3-0!

Boys Basketball has its first home game in the Woodrow Gym on Friday, December 9th.

Freshman/JV at 6:00 p.m. 

Varsity at 7:30 p.m.

Golf

The JV Boys Golf Team placed 2nd in the Jingle Bells Classic on Thursday, December 1st at Waterview Golf Course in Rowlett. 

Will McFarlin earned the highest individual honors placing 4th. Ethan Howland and Justin Stout also earned individual honors by placing in the Top 10. 

Way to go boys!
