Attendance is an essential component to a student's academic success. Often, the number of days that students are absent accumulates without parents realizing how many days have been missed.

CLASS OF 2024 NEWS
Class of 2024 Parent Meeting

The Class of 2024 will be hosting a Rising Senior Parent/Student Meeting on Wednesday, April 26th at 6:00 p.m.

Our ASP Counselors will be presenting important information about what students will need to be doing this spring and summer to prepare for college application season in the fall. 

Mr. Wood will touch base on attendance/behavioral expectations, and the PTA Senior Team will wrap up with important info on Senior Parking Lot Sales, Senior Apparel and important dates for next school year! 


 A reminder that Senior Apparel and Yard Signs are now available for the Class of 2024! Please make sure you have an account with our PTA Website and have student information entered with a 2024 graduation year or you will not be able to view the form. Orders are due at the end of the month and items will be distributed before school starts in August.

Incoming 2023-2024 IB Student Informational Meeting

Woodrow Wilson will host an IB informational meeting through Zoom for all new incoming 2023-2024 students.

Spirit Shop April Hours

The Spirit Shop will be closed Thursday, April 27th. 

Brick Campaign

Help support Woodrow by purchasing a commemorative brick! 

The Class of 2003 installed the first commemorative bricks and benches in our horseshoe to create a Woodrow “Walk of Pride” seating area. You can purchase a brick for a student, an alumnus, your favorite teacher, or your class. 

Orders are taken during the school year through the end of May. Installation will happen over the summer break.

Pricing: Current students can purchase a brick for $45. Once a student has graduated the price of the bricks will increase to $90. 

Keep in mind that this is a Fundraiser and there is a limited amount of space in our courtyard.

2023-2024 Choir Auditions

Choir auditions for 23-24 school year are April 25, 26, and 27! 

Please have your child stop by the choir room (rm 1221) for more information and to sign up!

Spring Football Parent Meeting

Just a reminder of Monday night's Player/Parent meeting. 

Monday, April 24th

6:00 p.m.

This is for all parents for the 23-24 season. 

We will cover needs for the Spring and Summer, Recruitment, Camps, 7 v 7, etc.,  and discuss what to be ready for in the Fall! We hope to see you there!

Golf

The boys and girls golf teams competed in their final tournament last week at the at the 2 5A Regional Golf Tournament held at Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club. Both teams played hard and represented our school and community with pride.

Freshman Maddie West led the way for the girls' team finishing in 11th place in the field of 86 players with rounds of 82 and 80. Senior Ava Berend played in her final golf tournament as a Wildcat.

Leading the way for the boys' team Noah Hundley and Jacob Yetts. Both finished T62 in the field of 92 players. Two seniors played in their final tournament as well: Noah Hundley and Arthur Cirillo.

Thanks to everyone for making it another great golf season at Woodrow Wilson HS!!

2023 Woodrow Football Kids Camp

Woodrow football kids camp is right around the corner! 

We can't wait for your child to join us this summer for WOODROW FOOTBALL KIDS CAMP! Camp cost will be $50 for the week and will be due during day 1 check-in.

Camp registration includes a daily snack, water and a Woodrow Football t-shirt.
