You are invited to attend an in-person meeting with Dallas ISD and the City to discuss the current zoning application to the J.L Long Middle School / Woodrow Wilson High School Bond projects. 

Dallas ISD is proposing to reduce the parking count at J.L. Long by 24 spaces and add athletic lights at the athletic field of Woodrow Wilson High School.

Dallas Independent School District’s Construction Services and Bond representatives will be in attendance to make a presentation and answer questions about the project. Spanish translators will be available at the meeting.

Thank you for remaining patient as we complete schedule changes and level classes. 

As a reminder, please do not stop by the counseling suite during the first two weeks of school. The counselors are working as hard as possible and interruptions slow the process for everyone. 

Even though there may be issues with your student’s schedule, please tell them to attend the classes on the issued schedule until a counselor gives them a new schedule. This will prevent students from being marked absent.

9th Grade and 10th-12th Grades

We believe schedules will be fixed and classes leveled by September 1, 2023.

The Spirit Shop will be open on Thursday mornings from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m., but we will only be open every other Thursday. The first Thursday school date is August 17th.

We will try to make online ordering available later in the semester. All shopping will need to be done in person as of now.

Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase or refunds/exchanges can’t be made.

Volunteers run this shop, so please be understanding of the changes being made. Our space is also very limited.

If you would like to come hang out and volunteer at the shop, please sign up here! We can’t run the shop without your help.

DID YOU KNOW THERE IS FOOD PANTRY AT WOODROW WILSON HIGH SCHOOL?

THE WOODROW COMMUNITY PEACE PANTRY helps supplement meals and provides healthy snacks and uniforms for our DISD students in need.

Peace Pantry serves ANY students in need. Pick up bags of supplemental food and meal items in RM1103 (The Peace Pantry) after school (open until 5:00 p.m.). No paperwork is needed.

Woodrow Community Peace Pantry is getting ready to serve those in need.  Blow Salon is partnering with us once again to stock the pantry.

Woodrow Parents and Community:  Just a friendly reminder that our Senior Parking Lot is not open for visitor parking on school days. 

Some of our seniors have been arriving at school to find someone in his or her spot.  

Our seniors paid money and worked hard (and in 100+ temps!) to personalize their spot and are counting on it to be available to them in order to get to practice/class on time.
