The National Honor Society has an open application period of two weeks, beginning on Monday, September 11th and ending on Monday, September 25th.  

Students may pick up an application in rooms 2005 or 3408, or print out the application via this link.  

Students must complete their own applications and handwrite their responses.  

In addition, one teacher recommendation (form included) should be completed.  Please read and follow the instructions as indicated on the application.

The attendance Gmail Account will be deactivated starting Saturday, September 2nd. Emails will no longer be accepted through the account.

The administration is looking at other options; however, in the interim, please submit your excuse notes by Fax at 972.502.4401 or in person in the Main Office.

Students are expected to stay at school from the time they arrive until the end of the school day at 4:30 PM.

If a student has to leave early, a parent/guardian must come to the main office and sign out, present the proper identification, and check the student out of school.

Pickup Times 

10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

If your student has an appointment or needs to leave early be sure to arrive before 3:45 p.m. 

Pickups after 3:45 p.m. will have to wait until the school bell rings at 4:30 p.m.

If you designate a person to pick up your child, the designee must present a picture ID and must be listed on your child’s contact information.

DID YOU KNOW THERE IS FOOD PANTRY AT WOODROW WILSON HIGH SCHOOL?

THE WOODROW COMMUNITY PEACE PANTRY helps supplement meals and provides healthy snacks and uniforms for our DISD students in need.

Peace Pantry serves ANY students in need. Pick up bags of supplemental food and meal items in RM1103 (The Peace Pantry) after school (open until 5:00 p.m.). No paperwork is needed.

This year, Alumni Night will occur on Homecoming and we want you all to come join in on the festivities! Please reach out to Ms. Schmidt with any and all questions!

Mark your calendars for October 20th for the 9th annual WoodrowFest.com.

This great charity event was conceived by, organized and run by, sponsored and supported by Woodrow alums, parents and community leaders. 

The event raises money for the over 80k worth of current wWw Scholarship winners. Every year we give out at least four, $5000 yearly scholarships ($5k a year $20k, total per student).

Help support our up-and-coming generations by helping them get that education they need to become leaders in our community. We will update everyone as we go on the many opportunities available to help us raise money for these students. Any and all help is welcome!!
