Frequently Asked Questions
Entering the Building: Student and parents must use the front entrance. If a student is tardy, please enter through the side doors nearest the Senior parking lot.
Visitors: Parents please use the front entrance and sign in as a Visitor.
Supplies: Backpacks are allowed. Please have a pen, paper and a binder for the first week until supply lists are assigned.
Lunches: Students may bring lunch or food is provided in the Cafeteria.
Uniforms: Woodrow has a dress code policy that can be found on the school website at www.woodrowwildcats.org. Please make sure your clothing and jackets are within dress code.
ID Badges: All students will be assigned badges and must wear them at all times on campus.
Cell Phones: The use of cell phones during the school day is prohibited, including lunch time.
Attendance: A written absence excuse must be submitted to the attendance office for every class or day that is missed.
Contacting teachers, counselors, staff, and principal: Please call the main office at 972-502-4400 and they will guide you on the best way to reach the person you need to speak with.
Power School: Parents and students can use Power School to track grades and absences. Please contact the main office if you need to set up a Power School account.
Parking: Students may park on Glasgow, Reiger or on surrounding streets. Senior students may purchase a parking space in the Senior parking lot. Visitors and students are not allowed to park in the teacher parking lots as the spaces are all assigned.
