Dear Woodrow Parents and Community Members, 

I hope you all are doing well and know that I truly appreciate you and your dedication to our students and the Woodrow community. As you maybe are aware, Principal Moran will be pursuing a new opportunity for the 2022-2023 school year. During the past four years Principal Moran has led WWHS with vision, resolve, and a true sense of responsibility. In alignment with his dedication and commitment to Woodrow, principal Moran has made the decision to provide notice at this time, so that he can help onboard the next principal and ensure a smooth transition of leadership. This timeline will allow school leadership the opportunity to complete the principal hiring process prior to the close of school and allow you all the opportunity to meet the new principal before next school year.

As we are going through the process of selecting the next principal for Woodrow Wilson High School, it is imperative that we gain parent and community input to create the principal profile that will guide the selection process, and ensure candidates demonstrate skills that meet campus needs .

To gain your input in the process, I would like to invite you to a meeting Thursday evening at 6:00 pm in the Woodrow Wilson HS Auditorium. Please take a few minutes to review the attached articles, in preparation for the meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting, I will share a survey where you can provide your insights and input.

The tentative timeline for principal selection process is below, while dates are subject to change the goal will be to present our final candidate to Dr. Hinojosa’s panel by May 25, 2022.
